Gotta share my experience with my Z71 and heres how it goes:

Had it for about a month and I love its power, comfort, fuel consumption and tech features! 20.2mpg over 700 miles is not that bad is it? For me it's quite workable. Spacious compared to my explorer, lol, seats are far better. Worked it on a steep, rocky and rutty off road and it did very well without a single scrape. Tech is super advanced, though I hope it won't cause me problems in the future since we all know when tech gets messed up it could cost a lot. Just to be thorough, I of course have to share my dislieks as well, some wouyld be the lack of a power passenger seat, no garage door opener, no fog lights, a personal one is the clearance, its too tall to fit in my garage though i guess my garage is just too small lol.

Overall its a great purchase for me and I hope they address all the issues brought up.
All insights are welcome.
Thanks!

Yeah, the Z71's solid, but you're right about the tech. GM's advanced systems have a history of being a double-edged sword. Actually, back in the early 2000s, GM started packing their SUVs with more electronic features, and issues like glitchy sensors or failing modules became common headaches. The power seat thing is annoying too! kinda weird considering older Z71 trims had that as standard.
On the garage fitment part, GM bumped up the Trailblazer's height slightly after 2020, mostly to improve ground clearance for off-road trims, so it's not just your garage. it's taller than older models. If you ever feel like tweaking it, there's a spacer delete trick some folks do to shave off an inch or so without messing with ride quality too much.

oh well you're enjoying the ride overall, which is good. 20.2 mpg isn't bad, especially with the off road performance. The small issues like the power passenger seat and fog lights are a bit annoying, but nothing major.

The lack of a power passenger seat and fogs seems like a weird miss for a truck in this range, but hey, at least it's doing what it's meant to off road. And yeah, garage height issues are real, I've had to air down tires just to fit once, lol. Hope it keeps treating you well

The fuel economy seems pretty solid for its class, and it's great to hear it handled off-road challenges like a champ. The dislikes you mentioned are fair points, though it sounds like the pros outweigh the cons. Sounds like your Z71 is ticking all the right boxes.

I'm sure they're gonna address it. I guess they do check forums too for any updates because I kinda see the upgrades people commonly ask for in new releases.

Interesting review! For some of the missing features you mentioned, that can be addressed with some modifications with both OEM and aftermarket products!
