Need Troubleshooting for My 2024 Traverse RS

Today I drove my family for a quick swim at the lake for the first time ever since I bought a car. Midway I got a 154 miles transmission message on the screen and suddenly the car went crazy? It went into neutral but good thing there was a nearby open area where I could park for the meantime.

Then I heard some metal grounding noise coming from the engine. IT WAS NUTS my younger sister was screaming like crazy sigh. Called the dealership and they towed it. When I got there they said that I probably left the headlights on overnight or something and there was also something about the battery connections being loose.

I think they were kind of dismissive so I felt annoyed ugh because now even the headrests in the second row are not working the way they should! They ordered new parts for the gears but it's still not convincing enough for me. Since I got this I always felt something off with the steering like I would always veer to the right without me even touching the steering wheel? Nevertheless the dealership said the vehicle should have 500 miles before they could do an alignment. Now they did it regardless. They said the fixing was finished last Sunday and now it's Wednesday and they kept telling me they need to check more because after they aligned they figured that yes it really was misaligned and the wheel was off as well. So they tried the Super Cruise but instead of driving straight ahead it hit a gutter and it almost made things worse. So what is there a problem with the sensors now? The dealership said they need more time to consult with the engineers but I maintain my car well and it has very low mileage I'm scared when they return it to me they would have put on 100 more miles or something as they check.

If anyone has experienced the same problem or something of the sorts please reach out. I'd like to know more just so I can have an idea when I can get it back.

That 154 miles transmission warning and the car going crazy was wild. Metal grinding from the engine? No wonder your sister freaked out. Dealership towed it and said loose battery connections or headlights left on did it. Sounds lame to me. Now the headrests dont work right either. Something aint right. The steering pulling right since you got it is weird. They said wait 500 miles for an alignment but did it anyway. Now they say the wheel was off and Super Cruise hit a gutter. That sounds like bad sensors or something big. Them needing more time to talk to engineers while adding miles to your low mileage car is sketchy. I'd be mad too.
