I have one in my car, and tutorial videos saved me from messing up lol. watched a few tutorials and used the proper tools. the dashcam works great now
yep youtube university all the way lol. especially with the wirings, youll see tutorials on how to properly hide them and organize.
I installed front and rear dashcams in mine. I ran the wires along the headliner and used the fuse box for a clean look. Took some time, but it worked out great!

I got the '24 one BTW is yours 2025? I know what you mean and this setup might generally work because I have it in mine. Yeah, yeah sure you'll be able to tuck the wires in, but if you're not confident you can always call up some help from the dealership otherwise it's not completely avoidable to mess things up.
After all, if they do some tinkering and they mess it up then that's not on you. No costs incurred.
yeah, youtube is great but as long as you're getting a dashcam from a reputable brand you'll get an installation manual so you have that to use as well

I don't know, do I still need to get a dashcam? I got the 360 cam as an option for my Traverse and feel like I'm so safe with it already. I don't feel the need using a dash cam. Is it required by law?
I use Vantrue N5, which I just bought last month, and it works really well. I asked a mechanic to install them tho'. so there was no mess lol
